Gas Turbine Control Replacement

This project involved the replacement of the gas turbine control system at the Nasiriyah Plant to improve reliability and performance. SAECO coordinated with the client to secure all necessary spare parts before execution, reducing onsite risks. A careful execution strategy was implemented to maintain plant availability during upgrades.

One unit at a time was loaded to full capacity while keeping others at FSNL to monitor performance. Activities were planned to ensure at least three of four units remained operational, minimizing shutdowns. The project was completed ahead of schedule, with all units returning to service and improved performance levels.
