Electrical, Instrumentation & Control (EI&C) Services

SAECO’s EI&C division powers the control systems, automation platforms, and monitoring infrastructure that the Kingdom’s energy and utility sectors depend on. From ARAMCO facilities to SABIC plants, we deliver integrated electrical, instrumentation, and control solutions for both operating assets and new installations.

The division provides comprehensive site execution services covering control system upgrades, power and protection systems, and instrumentation works. SAECO supports PLC, SCADA, and DCS platforms, turbine and balance-of-plant control systems, vibration and temperature monitoring systems, protection relays, excitation and AVR systems, as well as associated electrical and instrumentation infrastructure.

SAECO also delivers emission monitoring and compliance systems, including Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS/CIMS) and Predictive/Performance Information Monitoring Systems (PIMS). These systems are integrated with plant control and historian platforms to support real-time monitoring, regulatory compliance, reporting, and operational optimization.

Capabilities also include transformer and switchgear services, substation automation support, LV/MV electrical works, and generator testing and maintenance activities. All services are executed with a strong focus on operational technology (OT) system integrity, ensuring reliable interaction between field devices, control systems, and plant operations.

Where required, SAECO supports OT cybersecurity readiness and secure system integration as part of control system upgrades and site execution activities, working in alignment with client cybersecurity frameworks and approved architectures.
